Leta arrived, RuthAnn and Ralph Finnell, Patty & Carl, Larry & Carol, Louise, Linda, Steve & Raymond, Clyde, Dorothy Donna & Stevie. Then we all went to Hulpieu Swaim to see Daisey abt 9. Then home to await the director and the services at 10. There were so many beautiful flowers a large congregation at least 75. She looked so beautiful. Patty's husband sang "In the Garden" and "Rock of Ages" beautifully.
Grandsons (and in-laws) were pallbearers. An old family friend preached.
Then to Cimarron, and to lay her away.
In mng it sprinkled & sleeted, cold wind but cleared away, warmed up some not bad at cemetery.
The Rohrbaughs entertained the whole crowd with a lovely covered dish dinner in their big 14 room home.
At 9, while we watched Col John Glenn Jr. leave the earth in his capsule. When we returned abt 1:30 the TV would not work so we watched from Gregory's as Glenn encircled Earth 3 times and came down at 3 01 and on ship at 3:04. His orbit from 9am took 2' 56' 26'''
Then the crowd all came here to plan tomorrow.
